Hidden in the Hollow Music Festival

Our good friends in the music biz run Hidden in the Hollow Music Festival…the most epic all-VIP festivals ever thrown!  $120 gets you in, a screen printed poster, a cup, a hat pin, camping, free pizza saturday night, and beer is free. Lets repeat that last one…BEER IS FREE. There are giveaways everyday.  They give away so much free stuff like hand blown glass and Tarpestrys that you’ve got a 1 in 10 chance to go home with something that is worth the price of the ticket – or more!  Located at a hidden BEAUTIFUL mountain top location between Boone, NC and Johnson City, TN. MAY 20-21, 2016.

This will be the fourth annual and last year we were finally able to be there. We joined the prep team and also donated a Tarpestry for one of the many giveaways through the weekend.

2015 featured George Porter Jr., Jeff Sipe Trio, the Keels, Consider the Source, Native Sway, PBR, and so much more.  Man what a party it was and we had a great time!  During the Keels late night we helped rip a few giant fireworks to really get the mood lively!  Yes there was a bonfire…..and free moonshine, free beer, free pizza, and the most amazing RoShamBo contest ever witnessed (might have broken world records) not to mention the winner got to go home with a brand new Tarpestry!

This year’s lineup is amazing and has a few returns as well as new acts such as Dumpstaphunk, Yo mama’s big fat booty band, and Rumpke Mountain Boys who will be playing from 2a.m. until!  It’s time to get your boogie on down at the Hidden in the Hollow this year.  Grab your tickets here! Good luck on the RoShamBo contest and Tarpestry is proud to announce the winner will once again go home with a Tarpestry!  Hope to see you party people in the hollow!

Happy Music Festival Season!

Some of you already have a few music festivals under your belt this year and for others the festival season is just beginning.  Either way we hope you are as excited as we are to hear some amazing music in the company of good friends, family and the great outdoors.  Festival season is our favorite time of year! Not only do we get to travel the country and listen to great music but we are also reunited with all of you…and get to meet some of you for the first time!  Warm weather and smiling faces get us so excited to embark on Tarpestry Tour.

If you’re headed to any music festivals this summer don’t forget to pack your Tarpestry! You’ll always have a home base at the main stage for you and your buddies…not to mention a personal dance floor.  If the rain comes (and you know it will) pile your stuff on the Tarpestry and flip the sides over the pile so it stays nice and dry.  Or throw it over your head and use it as a poncho!  Be sure to bring a set of tent stakes so your Tarpestry stays down in the wind.  When it’s time for a break, bring the Tarpestry back to camp and hang up for privacy during nap time.  If the sun starts to wear you out, hang up the Tarpestry with the grommet rings to make life-saving shade.  Cheers to music festival season, have a blast and most importantly don’t forget to pack your Tarpestry!  Oh yeah, and lots and lots of water.

Pack Your Tarpestry: Okeechobee Music Festival

Are you headed to Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival this weekend?  It sounds like an amazing festival and we sure wish we were going!  An awesome line-up in a great location with some good Florida sun is the perfect remedy for these winter blues.  Hall and Oates, Robert Plant, Mumford and Sons and WEEN with sunshine and beach….yeah you could say we are a little bit jealous of you early season festivarians.

Well if you are one of the lucky ducks headed down to florida this weekend, don’t forget to pack your Tarpestry!  Break it in for the 2016 festival season while you’re on the beach, back at camp and at the show.  Pack your Rugged Tarpestry for your trips to Aquachobee and make good use of the double-sided water repellency and UV resistance!  Be sure to bring a set of tent stakes to make sure your Tarpestry stays down in the wind.  If the sun starts to wear you out, hang up the Tarpestry with the grommet rings to make life-saving shade.  Then take that Tarpestry to the show! You’ll always have a homebase at the main stage for you and your buddies…not to mention a personal dance floor.  When it’s time for a break, bring the Tarpestry back to camp and hang up for privacy during naptime.
Cheers to Okeechobee, have a blast and most importantly don’t forget your Tarpestry! (oh yeah, and sunscreen)
